ABOUT US

The Senior Center of Boulder City exists to enrich the lives of adults 50 years of age and older in Boulder City by providing Recreation, Nutrition/Food Service, Health Maintenance, Entertainment, and other services.

 

We believe that being active and involved is key to aging well.  To this end the Senior Center of Boulder City has many activities for the mature adult.

We would like to invite you to come and try out the center and its many activities.  You can become involved either as a participant and/or volunteer.  Membership is $12 per year.  Although you do not have to be a member to  come to the center, there are certain activities and discounts available only to members.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Senior Center of Boulder City advocates for the Senior population of Boulder City, providing services to enhance and empower Seniors to live an independent, active lifestyle.

FUNDING

The Senior Center of Boulder City (SCBC) is a non-profit 501(3)c organization.  Services provided by SCBC are funded, in part, by the State of Nevada Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD), the City of Boulder City and the United Way. While SCBC is grateful to receive all of these funds, they do not provide full financial support for the work of the Senior Center.  We depend on the generous financial contributions of individuals and local businesses to help defray our costs.
