Volunteers and Donations

We are always in need of volunteers in the dining room, at the reception desk, in the library, and most especially in the kitchen. Volunteers can donate their time once or on a regular schedule. It is up to you how much time you can devote, but every volunteer and every job is equally important. The Senior Center can only succeed with the help of our community members ... and that means you!

Donations All offers of donations are greatly appreciated! Donated items are used in SCBC’s programs, or for sale in the Gift Shop. If we are unable to use items we may donate them to another organization. All donations are tax deductible.
Due to our limited space and limited ability to dispose of items that cannot be used we evaluate whether we can accept items. Please call 293-3320 to get more information on donating items.
We also have a “wish list” of large donations the center is in need of: · Digital Camera · Emergency Generator (to run refrigerators/freezers in emergency) · Ice Table for Salad Bar · New carpeting for reception/recreation area · New carpeting for all administrative offices · Water filtration system (entire building)
